It's fan tip to latch hook. I suppose either the 33 did not have a shroud originally, or I've not seen one in the several 33s I've looked at.
Ive got about 3/16" clearance and feel it's way too close.
I have a '34 KB and would be happy to measure for you. I'm unclear about what you're looking for. Do you mean the outside of the fan blade edge? If so, it's in a shroud and the hood latch attaches to an arm on the radiator. Please let me know what you'd like me to measure, thanks!

Is there anyone that would be able to measure the engine fan tip to the front hood latch distance on a 32-34 KB or 33-34 KA?
My 33 KA project fan to latch distance is a bit closer than I would expect.
