Battery for 1925/1926 Model L (Judkins Body)
Gregory Riggen

I just purchased a Lincoln Model L. The seller did not have a 6-volt battery that actually fits in the battery compartment. Does anyone have a battery for sale? If not, can someone direct me to a supplier who sells a battery that will fit? I've contacted restoration shops in my area, but they all told me it would be 6-9 months before they would even look at the car.

The reason I titled this "1925/1926) is because the title says it is a 1926 model. However, it is my understanding that the hood ornament was changed to a greyhound beginning in 1926. My car has the MotoMeter ornament. The serial number on my car is 30,873. I think this is actually a 1925 model rather than 1926. Can anyone help me verify this? Also, if it IS a 1925 model, does anyone know the process for getting it changed on the title (I live in Kansas)?

Thanks in advance.

Thank you!

Most farm supply stores should have them, or you could order from NAPA. It's a group 3, like a 3EH I think.
